Singer Jung Dong-won shared a heartfelt farewell with over 3,000 fans, known as 'Universe Total Mobilization', at his last fan concert before joining the Marine Corps.
On the 13th, Jung Dong-won met with fans at the '2026 Fan Concert: The Path to Meeting Again Tomorrow' held at Hall 1 of KINTEX in Ilsan. This performance was particularly meaningful as it was the last opportunity for Jung Dong-won to meet fans in an official setting before fulfilling his military duty.
Opening with the tracks 'Only U' and 'Real Man' from his second regular album, Jung Dong-won expressed his emotions, saying, "This is the last time I meet with Universe Total Mobilization before my military enlistment," and added, "I think of today as the day I take the first step towards the day we meet again," moving the audience.
The highlight of the concert was the shining loyalty of the 'Mr. Trot' members. After a segment where fans read letters for a time capsule, Jang Min-ho, Young-tak, Kim Hee-jae, and Lee Chan-won made a surprise appearance from the audience to support Jung Dong-won. Encouraged by the strong support from his seniors, Jung Dong-won expressed his ambitious desire to "definitely hold a TOP6 concert after discharge," leading to explosive cheers from the fans.
In the latter part of the concert, when a surprise video message prepared by fans and staff was revealed, Jung Dong-won could not hide his surprise. He promised, "Time may not pass quickly, but I will return in good health and become a singer who will steadfastly protect you," expressing his heartfelt gratitude.
Jung Dong-won concluded the official program by passionately singing the concert title track, 'The Path to Meeting Again Tomorrow'. During the encore stage, he showed a moment of emotion while singing 'Letter from a Private', but he managed to sing through it calmly, revealing a more mature side. This concert, lasting about 100 minutes, will remain a precious record marking the first page of Jung Dong-won's twenties.
Meanwhile, Jung Dong-won, who actively promoted until just before enlistment with the release of his mini-album 'Collection Vol.2' on the 5th, is set to enter the Marine Corps training center on the 23rd to begin his military duty.
