Actor Lee Beom-soo and translator Lee Yoon-jin have legally separated after two years of divorce mediation. The couple, who married in 2010 and received public love, have put an end to their approximately 15 years of marriage.
On the 6th, Lee Beom-soo's agency, Y1 Entertainment, officially announced, "The two have completed all procedures related to their divorce through a mutual agreement." According to the agency, both sides have resolved all misunderstandings that had built up over time and have agreed to support each other as parents of their two children from their respective places. The agency also stated, "Speculative reports related to Lee Beom-soo are not true," and politely requested the cessation of the spread of false information.
Lee Yoon-jin also conveyed her feelings by posting a handwritten letter on her social media. She announced that the misunderstandings caused by a lack of communication during their marriage have been resolved and expressed her determination to "respect each other as parents moving forward." The couple previously appeared on the KBS2 variety show 'The Return of Superman,' showcasing their harmonious daily life and receiving much love.
