The rookie group Cortis is set to perform at the world-renowned music festival Lollapalooza Chicago, solidifying their global momentum.
Cortis has joined the lineup for Lollapalooza, which will be held from July 30 to August 2 at Grant Park in Chicago, Illinois, USA. Despite being newcomers with less than a year since their debut, they are the only K-Pop boy group invited to the festival this year, drawing the attention of music fans worldwide.
Established in 1991, Lollapalooza is one of the most prestigious outdoor music festivals in the world, attracting over 400,000 attendees each year. At this performance, Cortis will share the stage with global pop stars such as Grammy Award-winning Charlie XCX, Olivia Dean, and Lorde, showcasing their talent in a solo performance.
Their rapid growth is demonstrated by remarkable figures. Their debut album 'COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES,' released last August, achieved the impressive feat of reaching 15th place on the U.S. Billboard 200, the main album chart. Additionally, with cumulative sales surpassing 2 million copies just six months after its release, they became the second K-Pop debut album to achieve double million-seller status, along with breaking new records by exceeding 400 million cumulative streams on Spotify.
Their ability to dominate live stages has also received high praise in the global market. As the first K-Pop artist invited to the U.S. NBA crossover concert series, they headlined and recorded a sell-out crowd, and recently, they made a splash at the Tokyo Girls Collection in Japan, generating explosive local reactions.
Meanwhile, Cortis will kick off their comeback preparations starting April 20 with the pre-release of the title track from their new album. Their second mini-album 'GREENGREEN,' featuring a total of six tracks, will be officially released on May 4. Following this, they are expected to continue their global momentum with major appearances at the 2026 Weverse Con Festival in Seoul and the Alobank Festival in Indonesia.
