Writers Kim Ga-young and Kang Cheol-kyu, who are in charge of the new SBS Friday-Saturday drama 'Shin Irang Law Office', revealed the unique worldview and behind-the-scenes of the production. This work, which will premiere on the 13th, is a revenge adventure drama depicting the bizarre cooperation between 'possessed lawyer' Shin Irang, who resolves the grievances of the wrongfully deceased, and the win-rate-obsessed lawyer Han Na-hyun.

The two writers stated that they began writing from a sharp awareness of the issue that "the law ultimately only records the voices of the living." They introduced a fantasy setting where a 'lawyer', rather than a shaman or detective, fights with logic and procedure on behalf of victims who cannot speak the truth in real court. In particular, they plan to provide viewers with both rational pleasure and emotional comfort by solving cases that cannot be prosecuted due to lack of evidence through the device of ghost testimonies and possession.

The ghosts appearing in the drama are depicted not merely as objects of fear, but as personalities harboring stories they could not convey. The writers built a solid narrative focusing on the reasons why souls cannot leave this world and their lives. The protagonist Shin Irang is characterized by a warm-heartedness that cannot ignore the stories of others, and is expected to act as a 'warm-hearted hero' who brings human warmth in a harsh reality.

The trust the writers have in the lead actors Yoo Yeon-seok and Lee Som is also strong. Yoo Yeon-seok perfectly embodies a 'character parade' by possessing various souls, from gangsters to idol trainees, enhancing the immersion of the drama. Lee Som, through her intelligent portrayal of Han Na-hyun, is expected to create explosive synergy with Yoo Yeon-seok with contrasting energy.

The writers emphasized the message that "just listening to someone's story until the end is the beginning of salvation." 'Shin Irang Law Office' highlights Yoo Yeon-seok's diverse acting transformations, the thrilling developments that traverse law and the spirit world, and the process of the two protagonists understanding and growing with each other as key points to watch.

SBS's new refreshing drama 'Shin Irang Law Office', which combines fantasy and courtroom elements, will premiere on Friday, the 13th, at 9:50 PM.
