Han Ji-min and Park Sung-hoon faced a fateful reunion as business partners beyond just blind date candidates.
In the third episode of JTBC's weekend drama 'Efficient Meeting of Single Men and Women' aired on the 7th, the main character Lee Eui-young (played by Han Ji-min) dramatically meets again with her first blind date Song Tae-seob (played by Park Sung-hoon) after numerous failed blind dates.
On this day, Lee Eui-young's past request for a blind date, made in a drunken state, led to a series of successful matches with various men, including star instructors and trainers, but she felt no excitement. In contrast, Song Tae-seob quietly waited for Eui-young's contact, nurturing his feelings for her.
The unexpected connection between the two was 'business'. Hotel intern Shim Saebyeok (played by Kim So-hye) sent an email to select a pop-up event company to Song Tae-seob's company, and Tae-seob accepted the proposal upon realizing that the hotel was Eui-young's workplace. There was a crisis where the meeting could be canceled due to interference from her boss Jeong Na-ri (played by Lee Mi-do) and Shim Saebyeok's lies, but a twist occurred in the workplace.
It was revealed that the company Jeong Na-ri was promoting had plagiarized the design of Song Tae-seob's company, putting the project in jeopardy. In response, Lee Eui-young hurriedly headed to Chuncheon, where Tae-seob was camping, to find the original creator, Song Tae-seob.
While lingering in front of the tent, Lee Eui-young stumbled and fell into Song Tae-seob's arms, leading to their reunion. The shock on Eui-young's face upon realizing that the company representative she had been searching for was none other than her 'blind date guy' Song Tae-seob heightened expectations for future developments.
Meanwhile, a new love triangle was also detected. Restaurant waiter and aspiring actor Shin Ji-soo (played by Lee Gi-taek) confessed to Eui-young that he was the substitute for her blind date and handed her a theater ticket. However, when Eui-young did not show up due to work, he appeared disappointed, hinting at subtle changes in the relationship among the three.
Attention is focused on whether Lee Eui-young and Song Tae-seob, who have come back together as business partners, can resolve their misunderstandings and achieve the fruits of romance.
