Comedian Ahn Young-mi is receiving warm congratulations from netizens as she announces her pregnancy with her second child at the age of 44.
Ahn Young-mi revealed her pregnancy directly to listeners on the MBC FM4U program 'Two O'Clock Date with Ahn Young-mi' aired on the 2nd. She stated, "Listeners have been sending in guesses that I might be pregnant since last week, and they were right," officially acknowledging that she is currently in her second trimester.
Given that this pregnancy comes at the considerable age of 44, it has been reported that she was cautious about the announcement. Ahn Young-mi shared, "Because of my age, I kept quiet until I reached a stable period," adding, "I have been living each day as if I were walking a tightrope, being careful." She expressed her desire to share this joyful news with her listeners first, showing her special affection.
Her special connection with singer Nabi also became a topic of interest. Ahn Young-mi mentioned, "I jokingly talked about 'pregnancy together' with Nabi, and now I am pregnant after her," expressing her realization of the power of words.
Her current health status is reported to be good. Like during her first pregnancy, she is not experiencing morning sickness, allowing her to continue her broadcasting activities without issues. Regarding recent rumors about her health, she clarified, "I only lost facial fat, but I gained weight elsewhere," adding a heartfelt message wishing that her news would bring hope to someone.
The nickname for her second child is 'Ddakdong', meaning the sibling of her first child 'Ddak-kong'. The baby is a boy, and she is expected to give birth via cesarean section in July. Ahn Young-mi explained her decision, saying, "I had concerns about parenting, but I thought it would be difficult to have a sibling if I didn't do it now, so I gathered my courage."
Fans are sending waves of congratulations in response to the surprising news shared during the live radio broadcast, saying, "I hope you have a healthy delivery," and "I support your courageous choice."
