Annie, a member of the mixed group 'All Day Project' and known as the so-called 'third generation of the New World family', expressed her embarrassment over the flood of messages from fans to her university personal email and made a polite request.
On the 24th, while conducting a 'Study With Me' live broadcast with fans, Annie revealed an episode related to her school email account. Currently attending the prestigious Ivy League Columbia University in the United States, she shared, "The school ID is structured in a way that makes it easy to find, so fans send a lot of emails."
She explained, "All the messages I receive are warm and supportive, but my personal inbox is getting filled with fan messages, causing me to miss important notifications from professors or the school." She continued, "Please keep the school account as a space for academics," politely requesting that fans use communication apps or official channels instead. This reflects her determination to focus on her studies as she approaches graduation.
She also added a witty promise to her fans. Annie asked them to greet her warmly if they encounter her on campus, but humorously noted, "I might not look my best during exam periods, so I ask for your understanding in advance." In particular, she said, "If you want to see me, you can study hard and get into Columbia," adding, "If you become my junior, I will pass down my lecture notes," a shocking promise that sparked fans' academic enthusiasm.
Meanwhile, Annie is the granddaughter of Lee Myung-hee, the chairman of Shinsegae Group, and the eldest daughter of Jeong Yu-kyung, the chairman of Shinsegae Co., Ltd. She is currently double majoring in Art History and Visual Arts at Columbia University and is expected to graduate at the end of this spring semester. Until Annie completes her studies in May, All Day Project plans to continue engaging with fans through the individual activities of its members.
