"The return of the MZ wannabe icon." The group Ive (IVE) has entered the full-fledged comeback countdown, announcing the prologue of their new album with overwhelming visuals.
The agency Starship Entertainment released the first coming soon film featuring Jang Won-young's unique aura through their official SNS channel on the 21st. This video has captured the attention of global fans from the moment it was released with its cinematic direction and taut tension.
In the released video, Jang Won-young appears in a corridor filled with stillness, creating a mysterious atmosphere with the sound of a whistle and the rhythmic sound of her heels. In particular, her figure wearing a white trench coat and holding a red apple while heading somewhere evokes iconic scenes from the movie 'Kill Bill', raising curiosity about the concept of this new album to its peak.
At the end of the video, a countdown begins with the subtitle 'February 9 at 6 PM', increasing anticipation for the pre-release song that will be announced ahead of the official comeback at the end of February.
As the first to make a comeback, Jang Won-young is proving her unique influence within the group. She has demonstrated her musical capabilities by participating in the lyrics of the previous album's tracks 'ATTITUDE' and 'XOXZ', and as of January 2026, she has solidified her position as a 'trendsetter' by ranking first in girl group individual brand reputation.
This new album marks a comeback approximately six months after the release of the mini album 'IVE SECRET' in August last year and is the first activity to kick off 2026. Starting with Jang Won-young's intense coming soon film, attention is focused on what kind of musical transformation the sequentially released teaser content will showcase.
