Global top group BLACKPINK is finally returning as a full group. BLACKPINK will release their third mini album DEADLINE on February 27, making a grand comeback to the music scene. This is their new album after a long 3 years and 5 months since the release of their second full album BORN PINK in September 2022.

Their agency YG Entertainment announced on the 15th that the album title DEADLINE is the same as the name of their world tour that started last July at Goyang Sports Complex and traveled around the world. They added that this comeback will beautifully conclude the long journey they have shared with fans worldwide.

BLACKPINK has continued their team activities by releasing the digital single JUMP while conducting their world tour last year. This new album was originally aimed for release last year, and the music video was already filmed, but it is reported that the release date was adjusted to this year to maximize musical completeness through additional work.

During the hiatus, the members achieved remarkable success in their solo activities, enhancing the value of the team. Rosé swept global charts with the song APT., a collaboration with global pop star Bruno Mars, and has been nominated in three categories at the upcoming Grammy Awards. Jennie also proved her capabilities as a solo artist with her first full album Ruby being named one of Rolling Stone's 2025 Best Albums.

With their unique solo careers, BLACKPINK is once again coming together, and the attention of music fans worldwide is focused on what new records they will set with this new release DEADLINE.
