Singer Hwasa has set a new milestone in the history of Korean popular music. Her new song 'Good Goodbye' has swept the major domestic music charts, achieving the record for the most perfect all-kills (PAK) in the history of domestic artists, proving her undeniable power as the 'Queen of Digital Music'.
According to the online music ranking integration chart, IChart, Hwasa's 'Good Goodbye' recorded a cumulative PAK count of 656 as of 12:30 PM on the 13th. This is a remarkable achievement that surpasses the previous record held by NewJeans' 'Ditto' (655) by just one count.
With this, Hwasa has risen to the second place in the all-time PAK rankings, following Huntress (Golden, 1484), and has become the number one domestic artist of all time. She showcased her outstanding digital music power by surpassing formidable competitors such as BTS's 'Dynamite' (610) and IU's 'Celebrity' (462).
The beginning of this resurgence myth was the 46th Blue Dragon Film Awards celebration stage held last November. At that time, Hwasa's 'barefoot performance' with actor Park Jung-min garnered attention for its authenticity beyond a simple stage. The video of this performance, which brought tears to the eyes of the actors present, went viral on various short-form platforms, becoming a catalyst for the rapid rise in music charts.
After reclaiming the top spot on the charts 38 days after its release, 'Good Goodbye' has maintained its number one position and continues to enjoy long-term success. This song has achieved remarkable results not only on domestic charts but also ranked number one for two consecutive weeks on the Billboard Korea Hot 100 and number one on the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart.
Meanwhile, to repay this overwhelming love, Hwasa will hold a solo concert '2026 HWASA CONCERT-MI CASA' at Kyung Hee University's Peace Hall in Seoul from the 17th to the 18th. It is anticipated how Hwasa will captivate the audience with her unique stage for the first time in 12 years since her debut.
