The group Boy Next Door continues its unstoppable activities, showcasing overwhelming influence in the Japanese market.
Boy Next Door will perform at the special event with MUSIC LIVE held at the Ariake Arena in Tokyo, Japan, for two days from the 11th to the 12th. As the only K-pop artist on the lineup for this performance, they are set to captivate local fans on the second day.
This performance will accelerate Boy Next Door's activities in Japan even further. The members will take the stage as headliners for two consecutive days at the large festival BEAT AX, held at the same venue, Ariake Arena, on February 14th and 15th. Following that, on March 7th, they will attend the TBS CDTV Live! Live! Spring Grand Thanksgiving Festival 2026 on the first day to meet global fans.
They are expanding their reach beyond simple performance activities into the local variety show market. Boy Next Door will present a talk variety show titled Boy Next Door Tomodachi Base, airing on Nihon TV starting April 11th. This will be the first time they host a fixed variety program under their team name on local broadcasting. They plan to communicate with various guests each week as the main hosts, showcasing new charms.
Such bold moves by Boy Next Door were made possible due to their solid performance in Japan. After debuting in Japan with their single AND in July 2024, they demonstrated their strength by selling out all performances of their first solo tour in Japan. Notably, their second single BOYLIFE, released in August last year, topped the Oricon weekly chart and received Gold Disc Platinum certification from the Japan Record Association.
Their Korean release albums, mini album No Genre and mini album The Action, also received Gold certification locally, proving their hot popularity. Recognized for these achievements, Boy Next Door solidified their position as the next-generation K-pop leaders by winning the Rookie Award at the 67th Japan Record Awards last November.
