According to the Circle Chart 2025 annual chart announced on the 9th, Seventeen entered the top 100 in the album category with their 5th full album Happy Birthday at 2nd place for the standard edition, 94th for the kit edition, and 99th for the Weverse edition. Additionally, their unit activities, including S.Coups and Mingyu's mini album Hype Vibes at 24th, BSS's single 2nd album Telepathy at 45th, and Hoshi and Woozi's single 1st album Beam at 61st, all made the list, marking a remarkable achievement for all albums released last year.
In particular, the 5th full album Happy Birthday surpassed a cumulative annual sales of 3 million copies when combining the sales of the standard edition, kit edition, Weverse edition, and LP. With this, Seventeen solidified their status as a super idol by recording their seventh triple million seller following Ataka, Face the Sun, FML, and Seventeen's Heaven.
Their achievements in the global market are also dazzling. Happy Birthday ranked 2nd on the Billboard 200, the main album chart in the United States, setting a record of 7 consecutive top 10 entries. Billboard praised this album as a masterpiece showcasing the team's peak, selecting it as one of the 25 Best K-Pop Albums of 2025.
In the digital music sector, the title track Thunder ranked high in all annual charts of Circle Chart's global K-Pop, digital, download, and streaming categories. It was also included in The Hollywood Reporter's list of the 40 Best K-Pop Songs of 2025, recognizing both the song's popularity and musicality.
Seventeen plans to continue their momentum into the new year of 2026. On the 12th, the main vocal unit of Dokyeom and Seungkwan will release their mini album Soyagok and begin activities with the title track Blue. Following that, S.Coups and Mingyu will hold unit live parties starting from the Incheon Inspire Arena on the 23rd, followed by Busan, Kaohsiung, and Japan.
Additionally, in February and March, they will continue their global syndrome by meeting fans directly through the Seventeen World Tour NEW_ in Asia, which will tour major stadiums in key Asian cities.
