Big Hit Music's rookie boy group Cortis has dominated the American NBA stage, setting a new milestone for K-pop.
Cortis (Martin, James, Juhun, Seonghyeon, Gunho) took the stage at the halftime show of the '2026 Ruffles NBA All-Star Celebrity Game' held at the Kia Forum in California on the 14th local time. This is the first time a Korean artist has performed at this event in its history, proving Cortis's explosive status in the North American market.
On this day, Cortis heated up the venue by performing their hit songs 'GO!' and 'FaSHioN' in succession. The audience responded with a roar greater than the scoring situations during the game, and the 'sing-along' that erupted throughout the arena was spectacular. Local commentators also praised their overwhelming stage presence and focused attention on them.
Earlier, Cortis also headlined the 'NBA Crossover Concert Series' held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on the 13th. This concert, which sold out completely, saw the members surprise fans by unveiling their unreleased new song 'YOUNGCREATORCREW' during the encore stage.
The new song reflects the identity and free spirit of the 'Young Creator Crew' as the members participated directly in its creation. Cortis has heightened expectations for their comeback by announcing a special stage for fans in March.
Through the NBA All-Star Week, which encompasses sports, music, and fashion, Cortis deeply connected with the global fandom core (COER) and is set to begin preparations for a full comeback in April after successfully completing their schedule in the United States.
