The group ENHYPEN has showcased strong album power beyond Korea and the United States, firmly establishing their position as a global sensation in Japan.
According to the Japan Record Association's announcement on the 10th, ENHYPEN's mini album 7, 'THE SIN: VANISH', has surpassed a cumulative shipment of 250,000 copies as of January, earning a Gold Disc 'Platinum' certification. The Japan Record Association officially certifies albums by counting cumulative shipments each month, categorizing them as Gold for over 100,000 copies and Platinum for over 250,000 copies.
This album debuted at 1st place on the Oricon Daily Album Ranking upon its release in Japan, generating explosive local reactions. It also topped the Line Music Weekly Album Top 100 chart and swept the top ranks on both the Oricon and Billboard Japan weekly charts. Thanks to this popularity, a global fan event titled 'VAMPIRE IS COMING', sharing the album's narrative, is set to be held in Tokyo, Japan on the 14th.
The performance in the global market is also remarkable. The album recorded 2.07 million copies in first-week sales, marking ENHYPEN's fourth double-million seller. Notably, it entered 2nd place on the Billboard 200, the main album chart in the United States, continuing an exceptional career with six consecutive top 10 entries.
Beyond music activities, ENHYPEN's contributions are ongoing in the sports arena. Their mini album's track 'SHOUT OUT' has been selected as the official support song for Team Korea at the ongoing 2026 Milan-Cortina d'Ampezzo Winter Olympics, cheering for the South Korean national team. Member Sunghoon participated directly as a torchbearer in this event, receiving praise for excellently serving as a bridge between sports and culture as a K-pop artist.
With their dominance in major music charts in Korea, the US, and Japan, along with active participation in the Olympic scene, ENHYPEN's global influence is expected to expand even further in the future.
