Stray Kids' member I.N completed a special cross-generational stage with the 'living legend of the music industry,' J.Y. Park.
On February 5th, I.N appeared as a guest at J.Y. Park's solo concert 'Happy Hour' held at Kanadebia Hall in Tokyo, Japan. The meeting of J.Y. Park, who has been at the top for over 30 years, and Stray Kids' I.N, who has grown into a global top artist, drew explosive reactions from the local audience.
On this day, J.Y. Park introduced I.N by saying, "It's not easy to find a singer who can embody both the ballad sensibility of 2am and the performance of Rain, but I finally found one," and spared no praise. He then called I.N to the stage, showing special affection.
In response, I.N performed a joint stage with J.Y. Park, showcasing 2am's 'This Song' and Rain's 'Switch to Me.' I.N demonstrated his capabilities as an 'all-rounder' artist by not only delivering the ballad sensibility with his unique sweet voice but also flaunting his dazzling dance skills in the New Jack Swing style.
After the stage, I.N expressed his thoughts, saying, "It's amazing and I'm grateful to be able to sing a song I've loved since I was young with J.Y. Park PD." Especially during the performance, a surprise cake and gift prepared by J.Y. Park appeared for I.N, whose birthday is on February 8th, warming the atmosphere.
Meanwhile, Stray Kids, to which I.N belongs, is writing a great record in the global music market starting in 2026. Recently, their first full-length repackage album 'IN生' surpassed 1.5 billion cumulative streams on Spotify, and the title track 'God's Menu' also recorded over 500 million plays, setting a new record as the first 4th generation K-pop boy group. The world tour live film released on the 6th also topped the global box office, proving their global popularity.
Stray Kids plans to continue their vigorous activities by headlining at the 'The Governors Ball Music Festival' in New York, USA, in June and 'Rock in Rio' in Brazil in September. Domestically, they will hold their 6th official fan meeting at Incheon Inspire Arena from late March to early April, directly communicating with fans.
