BLACKPINK's Jennie has reached the top in the girl group individual brand reputation war for February 2026. After a fierce battle with IVE's Jang Won-young, she claimed 1st place, while BLACKPINK's Lisa also recorded explosive growth, securing a spot in the 'Top 3'.
The Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute analyzed 115.82 million big data points from 730 girl group members' brands from January 15 to February 15, 2026. This figure is a 7.18% decrease compared to last January, but consumer interest in the top members remains strong.
Reclaiming 1st place, BLACKPINK's Jennie recorded a total brand reputation index of 7,849,623, with a participation index of 1,382,488, media index of 1,340,720, communication index of 2,363,102, and community index of 2,763,314. This shows a 6.13% increase from the previous month, proving her enduring popularity.
2nd place IVE's Jang Won-young closely followed Jennie with a brand reputation index of 7,783,629, but unfortunately dropped 3.34% compared to the previous month, remaining in 2nd place. In contrast, 3rd place BLACKPINK's Lisa recorded a remarkable 25.05% surge to 5,938,785, showcasing the steepest growth. Following her, BLACKPINK's Rosé and IVE's An Yujin secured 4th and 5th places, respectively.
Koo Chang-hwan, director of the Korean Corporate Reputation Research Institute, explained, "Jennie's brand showed high scores in link analysis with terms like 'bold, sexy, release', and in keyword analysis, 'Jen, transfer love, photo exhibition' emerged as major issues." Notably, in the positive-negative ratio analysis, an overwhelming positive ratio of 92.31% was recorded, solidifying her brand value.
Meanwhile, this analysis showed a general decline in consumption, communication, and diffusion indicators in the girl group individual brand category. This is attributed to a decrease in media exposure and changes in consumer spending patterns.
Additionally, in the February 2026 brand reputation top 30, K-pop representative artists such as MAMAMOO's Hwasa, aespa's Karina and Winter, IVE's Wonhee, BLACKPINK's Jisoo, IVE's Liz, and Girls' Generation's Taeyeon made their names known, proving their global influence.
