
The movie Humint is raising audience expectations with its vivid sound and immersive experience.
Distributor NEW announced on the 20th that director Ryoo Seung-wan's new film Humint has been confirmed for screening in Dolby Atmos format, unveiling a new poster. The released poster features the intense appearances of Jo In-sung, Park Jung-min, Park Hae-joon, and Shin Se-kyung, capturing the attention of viewers.
Humint is a spy action film set against the backdrop of Vladivostok, where secrets and truths are submerged in the cold sea, depicting a clash between characters with different objectives. This work is particularly known as the third installment of director Ryoo Seung-wan's overseas location trilogy, following Berlin (2013) and Mogadishu (2021), generating significant buzz from the production stage.
The next-generation immersive sound technology applied in this film, Dolby Atmos, is characterized by its ability to create a three-dimensional sound that envelops the body. Intense action scenes and moments filled with urgency are delivered with vibrant sound, allowing audiences to experience an overwhelming sense of immersion as if they were actually at the scene.
The poster released alongside the news of the Dolby Atmos release features Jo In-sung as the National Intelligence Service's Section Chief Jo, Park Jung-min as the Ministry of National Defense's Park Geon, Park Hae-joon as the Consul General Hwang Chi-sung, and Shin Se-kyung as the North Korean restaurant employee Chae Seon-hwa. The complex relationships between the three characters who meet Chae Seon-hwa for different purposes and the hidden narratives within them are stimulating the curiosity of movie fans.
