As various controversies surrounding comedian Park Na-rae intensify, her former manager, Mr. A, has officially refuted the claims made by Park Na-rae's side and announced legal action.
Mr. A presented specific dates and circumstances regarding the recent controversy. He clarified that he has never called Park Na-rae after resigning. In particular, he stated that the call made in the early morning of December 2025 was initiated by Park Na-rae, and he has kept all evidence, including recordings of their conversations at his home.
Regarding the allegations of neglecting his pet dog, he claimed that Park Na-rae never visited the dog before filming and that he personally went to the grandmother's house in Mokpo to take care of feeding and accompanying to the hospital. He also added that he continuously requested enrollment in the four major insurances, but it was not done according to the intentions of Park Na-rae, who had the final decision-making authority.
Mr. A strongly denied the most contentious claim regarding the demand for a settlement of 500 million won, stating it is not true. He emphasized that the settlement document conveyed through his lawyer contained only an apology and acknowledgment of the false report without any monetary demands. He felt puzzled when he received a message from Park Na-rae's side asking what else was needed besides money, and claimed he was sued for attempted extortion after rejecting the settlement offer.
He also clarified the controversy regarding salary and corporate card usage. The mentioned 3 million won was only for meeting expenses and did not imply a reduction in personal salary, and the corporate card was used for public purposes such as Park Na-rae's meal expenses, personal item purchases, and home disinfection costs.
Particularly, a significant point raised in this revelation is the suspicion of instructions regarding relationships with senior colleagues in the agency. Mr. A claimed that Park Na-rae instructed him to record conversations to secure weaknesses of her senior colleagues, Kim Jun-ho and Kim Dae-hee, and that he sent the recordings to Park Na-rae and her boyfriend. As a result, last year's absence of Park Na-rae from the weddings of Kim Ji-min and Kim Jun-ho has been reexamined, raising suspicions about discord within the agency.
It is reported that Park Na-rae's side is currently pursuing legal procedures regarding the claims made by the former manager, and as both sides' claims are in sharp contrast, the truth is expected to be revealed in court.
