The late singer's younger sister shared the heartbreaking news on December 17, 2025, through Jindain's social media account, stating that her brother had passed away due to an accident. According to the family, the cause of death was confirmed to be a fall resulting from an illness he was battling.
Jindain was known to have suffered from bipolar disorder and schizophrenia symptoms since 2015. After recognizing his illness, he diligently pursued treatment and worked hard to manage his condition; however, it was reported that his symptoms had recently worsened, leading to the tragic accident.
His sister revealed that even while battling his illness, he maintained his life through faith and tried to convey love and trust to those around him, but due to the effects of the illness, impulsive behaviors recurred, causing great pain for both him and his family over a long period.

The late singer was a graduate of Fudan University in Shanghai, China, and began to showcase his musical talent as a member of the Hongdae busking team, Siso, in 2016. The following year, he gained attention by releasing albums such as "Naturalism" and "Blooming" under the name Sing Sing.
In 2020, he changed his stage name to Jindain and consistently released emotional songs like "After This Night," "Eternal," and "Fairytale," building his own musical world. The news of his passing at the young age of 29 has led to a wave of mourning from music colleagues and fans.
