Sian, the youngest son of former soccer player Lee Dong-guk and Miss Korea Lee Soo-jin, has been reported to have sustained a deep facial injury and received emergency treatment.
On the 28th, Lee Soo-jin shared on her social media that this was the first time she experienced such an incident while raising five children, and she felt momentarily dazed and her heart sank, along with a photo of Sian during treatment. She explained that the injury was deep in the most visible part of his face, describing the tense situation at the time of the accident.
The accident did not occur during exercise or play. It was reported that while Sian was hurriedly looking for a ball for tennis ball lifting, he mistakenly pulled a door he shouldn't have entered and hit his face hard against it. Lee Soo-jin expressed her distress as she couldn't sleep and kept recalling that scene, sharing her feelings as a parent.
Due to the depth of the wound, Sian received anesthesia and underwent surgery with a total of 6 stitches on his face. Although Sian, who usually fears injections, cried a lot at the news of anesthesia, he later felt embarrassed, saying it wasn't a big deal to cry that much after the surgery. Notably, his sister Jae-si held his hand tightly throughout the surgery, showing warm family love.
While mother Lee Soo-jin is worried about potential scarring, Sian is reportedly more concerned about not being able to attend soccer training due to his injury. Lee Soo-jin comforted her son by saying that since it's vacation and he can't train, he has become a real bum, suggesting they just take a good rest since it's the end of the year.
