'Son of the Wind' Lee Jong-beom confirms his grandson Go Tae-hyun's exceptional 'baseball DNA' and begins serious training for his successor.
The 610th episode of KBS2's entertainment show 'The Return of Superman', airing on the 25th, will be themed 'Better Together'. In this episode, Lee Jong-beom witnesses his grandson Tae-hyun's overwhelming physical condition and athletic ability, inherited from his son-in-law Go Woo-seok and son Lee Jung-hoo, and starts early baseball education disguised as play.
During a recent recording, Tae-hyun appeared wearing a San Francisco Giants uniform gifted by his uncle Lee Jung-hoo, drawing attention. As soon as he caught the ball, he showcased a powerful pitch reminiscent of his father Go Woo-seok, and instinctively grabbed the bat and took a hitting stance, surprising his grandfather Lee Jong-beom. MC Ralral, watching this, remarked, "The grandfather can't hide his joy at even the smallest gestures of his grandson," bursting into a warm smile.
Tae-hyun's performance didn't stop there. His sprinting after hitting a home run reminded everyone of Lee Jong-beom, who was called 'Son of the Wind' during his active days. Especially, Lee Jong-beom couldn't contain his excitement as he cheered at Tae-hyun's fearless sliding towards the mat. He praised, "Nice sliding! Just what I wanted to see!" and revealed his doting grandfather side, saying, "I think the sports world will pay attention to Tae-hyun."
The baseball skills of 'all-around prospect' Tae-hyun, who has absorbed the talents of his pitcher father and hitter grandfather, along with Lee Jong-beom's happy daily life, can be confirmed through the main broadcast.
Meanwhile, KBS2's 'The Return of Superman' airs every Wednesday at 8:30 PM.
