Comedian Yoon Jung-soo's wedding last month did not see the presence of his close colleague Park Soo-hong, leading to renewed rumors of conflict. In response, Yoon Jung-soo clarified directly through the radio, dismissing the misunderstandings.
Yoon Jung-soo held his wedding on the 30th of last month with Pilates instructor Won Jin-seo, who is 11 years younger and a former reporter, at a location in Seoul. The ceremony was hosted by Yoon Jung-soo along with his close friend Nam Chang-hee, and Kim Sook, who paired with him as a virtual couple, while stars like Lee Mu-jin, Bae Gi-sung, and Cool's Lee Jae-hoon performed congratulatory songs, receiving much celebration.
However, despite many guests attending the wedding, Park Soo-hong, known as Yoon Jung-soo's representative close friend in the entertainment industry, was absent. This led some to raise rumors of conflict between the two once again. Three years ago, Yoon Jung-soo also did not attend Park Soo-hong's wedding, which sparked a previous conflict rumor. At that time, Yoon Jung-soo explained, "I couldn't go because of filming and sent a generous wedding gift."
With rumors of conflict arising again due to Park Soo-hong's absence, Yoon Jung-soo took to KBS Cool FM's 'Yoon Jung-soo and Nam Chang-hee's Mister Radio' on the 3rd to clarify directly.
Yoon Jung-soo began, "There are people asking why Park Soo-hong didn't come (to the wedding), saying it's another conflict." He continued, "Over 70 people from the entertainment industry couldn't attend. I was annoyed because there was leftover steak."
He stated, "Those who couldn't come sent their wedding gifts generously. Park Soo-hong also sent me a wedding gift," and added, "I can't disclose the amount, but I bragged to Nam Chang-hee that 'so much money came in from the celebrities.'" Yoon Jung-soo dismissed the conflict rumors, emphasizing, "I don't want misunderstandings or other stories created by bringing it up," as he concluded the broadcast.
