'The Human Begins Today' Follow-up, The Birth of a Fantasy Court Drama
SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama 'Shin and Law Office' is coming to viewers with fresh fantasy material and a glamorous casting lineup. Following the success baton of its predecessor 'The Human Begins Today', it is set to create a new sensation in the home theater.
Yoo Yeon-seok, Lee Som, Kim Kyung-nam, A Tangled Web of Character Relationships
'Shin and Law Office' is a fantasy court drama depicting the chaos that ensues when the protagonist, who becomes a late-blooming lawyer to resolve the grievances of a fallen family, unexpectedly gets entangled with ghosts. Yoo Yeon-seok plays the role of 'Shin and Law', who becomes a lawyer following his father, a prosecutor who met an undignified death. He faces spiritual beings right from the start of his practice, marking a turning point in his life.
The counterpart 'Han Na-hyun' is played by Lee Som. As the ace lawyer of Taebaek Law Firm, she is a character obsessed with winning cases to fulfill the wishes of her sister who passed away in an accident. Her once-perfect life is greatly shaken by the strange events that occur with the arrival of Shin and Law.
The role of 'Yang Do-kyung', which maximizes the tension of the drama, has been cast to Kim Kyung-nam. As the representative of Taebaek Law Firm, who has achieved victory by any means necessary, he feels a strong sense of crisis with the emergence of Shin and Law and the changes in his partner Han Na-hyun. Additionally, a solid supporting cast with strong acting skills, including Kim Mi-kyung, Jeon Seok-ho, Choi Kwang-il, and Jung Seung-gil, has further enhanced the drama's quality.
16 Episodes Scheduled and Simultaneous Release on Netflix
'Shin and Law Office', planned for a total of 16 episodes, is co-produced by Studio S and Mongjakso. Writers Kim Ga-young and Kang Cheol-kyu co-wrote the script, and director Shin Joong-hoon helmed the project, showcasing a brilliant ensemble of fantasy and court drama.
The show airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM on SBS and will also meet global viewers through the online video service (OTT) Netflix. The first episode re-broadcast can be checked on the 14th at 1:20 PM and 8:35 PM.
