On the 21st, additional ticket sales for the large-scale comeback performance of the group BTS will be held in the Gwanghwamun Square area of Seoul today (the 12th).
According to their agency Big Hit Music, additional standing ticket sales for 'BTS Comeback Live: Arirang' will open through the ticketing platform NOL Tickets at 8 PM tonight. Given that BTS has a global fandom, fierce competition for tickets is expected for this live stage held in the heart of Seoul at Gwanghwamun.
The newly secured viewing area is approximately 7,000 seats. The stage will be extensively set up starting from the south of the Sejong-daero intersection, reaching the areas around Gwanghwamun Station on Line 5 and City Hall Station on Line 1. To maximize the sense of presence and immersion, all areas will be operated as standing sections.
When combining the initial ticket sales and these additional seats, the total audience capacity will reach about 22,000. This performance, which will bathe the Gwanghwamun area in purple, is expected to be an unprecedented outdoor music festival in the heart of Seoul, going beyond just a simple new song release.
In preparation for the large crowd, safety management will also be strengthened. The agency plans to prioritize the safety of attendees and work closely with local authorities and police to ensure effective on-site control and traffic management.
The combination of the symbolic space of Gwanghwamun and BTS's overwhelming performance is anticipated to leave a new record in the global popular music scene.
