Singer Jung Jae-hyung recently drew a line regarding his mention in the controversy surrounding comedian Park Na-rae's 'Ju-sai-mo', stating, "I have no connection whatsoever."
A representative from Jung Jae-hyung's agency Antenna stated on the 10th, "To prevent further misunderstandings regarding the controversial entertainment broadcast, we clearly state that we have no relation to this matter. We have no acquaintance with person A (Ju-sai-mo) nor have we ever met."
The agency added, "We are delivering this official statement to correct the false stories that are being distorted and to guard against the spread of allegations."
The reason Jung Jae-hyung was mentioned stems from a past episode of the MBC entertainment program 'I Live Alone'. In the episode aired on December 13, 2024, Jung Jae-hyung, who came to learn how to make kimchi from Park Na-rae, appeared exhausted after a long time of making kimchi. While struggling, Jung Jae-hyung mentioned to Park Na-rae, "I need to make a reservation for an IV drip tomorrow too," to which Park Na-rae replied, "Oh, oppa. Let's reserve the IV together."
This remark was considered a comedic scene showing the exhaustion from making kimchi at the time of the broadcast, but as suspicions grew that Park Na-rae received illegal medical treatment from the so-called 'Ju-sai-mo' who does not have a medical license and was prescribed professional medication, the situation changed. As this scene gained renewed attention, suspicions arose that Jung Jae-hyung was also related to 'Ju-sai-mo'. As the controversy escalated, the production team of 'I Live Alone' has made the relevant video clip private.
