Comedian Park Mi-sun revealed the process of completely shaving her head during her second chemotherapy treatment.
On the 7th, a video titled "[Wise Cancer Treatment Life - 2] Sending Off Hair" was uploaded to the YouTube channel 'I Am Park Mi-sun'. The video showed Park Mi-sun cutting her hair before undergoing her second chemotherapy.
Park Mi-sun explained, "I’m going to cut my hair a bit before going for the second chemotherapy. Because my hair might fall out or it might not, but if it does, it can be tiring in various ways, so I’m just going to cut my hair today and go to the hospital for the second chemotherapy."
Upon arriving at the hair salon, she confessed, "I always wanted to try shaving my head. So I thought about buying a wig," and she trimmed the sides and back of her hair short while leaving some length on top. She smiled and said, "I look like a handsome guy. I’m a completely new person."
However, on the second day of her second chemotherapy, Park Mi-sun's hair began to fall out in clumps. She couldn’t hide her embarrassment, saying, "I can’t handle it. The pillow and everything," and eventually cut her top hair short as well. Afterward, she wore a wig and covered it with a beanie to hide her short hair perfectly.
But on the ninth day of her second chemotherapy, Park Mi-sun could no longer endure it and ultimately chose to shave her head. She said, "A lot has fallen out. There’s so much hair in the drain that it’s like a jungle," and added, "I shaved it completely, leaving no hair behind, like a green monk."
Seeing this, her daughter remarked, "You look like Mad Max Furiosa," drawing attention.
