According to Spotify, BTS’s regular fifth album, ‘Arirang (ARIRANG),’ held on to global No. 2 on the Weekly Top Albums chart for three consecutive weeks despite comebacks by heavyweight pop stars. That allowed them to set a record of entering the top tier for 15 straight weeks, proving their strong momentum even three months after release.
Their performance on the music charts is just as dominant. The title track ‘SWIM’ reached No. 6 on the Weekly Top Songs global chart, and five songs on the album remained on the chart for 15 straight weeks. Their newly released track ‘Come Over,’ announced as a surprise, also entered the chart at No. 85, continuing their run of chart placements.

In the European music market as well, BTS’s reverse-chart craze is in full force. They recorded No. 37 on the U.K. Official Albums Top 100 chart and succeeded in entering it for 15 straight weeks, while detailed charts such as the Scottish albums chart saw their rankings jump significantly.
In Germany’s official music chart, they also climbed to No. 9, sustaining long-term success. Assessments say they are setting a new milestone for K-pop by dominating mainstream music markets in both North America and Europe at the same time.
Argentina’s City Council Honors BTS Unanimously—First Korean Artist to Enter a Stadium
As they continue to prove their global impact, BTS was unanimously selected as ‘Honorary Foreign Guests’ by the La Plata City Council in Argentina. This is the highest honor given to world-class figures in culture and the arts, recognizing their contributions toward promoting young people’s rights around the world. In preparation for BTS’s visit, the La Plata mayor’s office is directing full administrative support.
