Cortis (CORTIS) has fully cemented itself as the new trend in 2026 by recording the highest ranking among K-pop boy groups on this year’s Melon monthly chart.
Breaks a streak of boy-group hardship… A No. 2 surge on Melon’s monthly chart with the new song 'REDRED'
According to the June monthly chart released on the 1st by Melon, South Korea’s largest music source platform, Cortis’s mini-album second EP title track 'REDRED' took No. 2. After entering last month at No. 3, the group climbed the rankings within a month, once again setting a personal best for the top performance by a boy group this year.
Melon’s monthly chart ranks songs by combining streaming and download usage over one month. It is considered a key indicator that proves the group’s public recognition beyond fandom clout, based on the number of pure listeners excluding repeat plays.
It has been two years and three months since 2024, March that a K-pop boy-group song landed on Melon’s monthly chart’s top two. In particular, among the past decade, only five boy groups—including Cortis—have achieved No. 2 or better on that chart, adding even more weight to this performance.
It’s a wrap on proving mainstream appeal… Aiming globally with the first solo tour in July
After taking over domestic music charts and firmly proving its mainstream appeal, Cortis now turns its focus to the global stage.
Cortis will hold '2026 CORTIS TOUR,' its first solo tour concert since debut, in July and meet fans around the world. With explosive growth that achieved both a backslide and a forward climb on music charts at the same time, observers are paying close attention to what kind of ripple this tour will create in the global music market.
