The 17th season "Sick Couple" that gained attention by appearing on the JTBC entertainment program 'Divorce Contemplation Camp' has failed to restore their relationship after the broadcast and has ultimately entered into legal disputes. Although they attempted to mend their relationship through the show, it instead led to a fierce exchange of accusations against each other, culminating in a disaster.
Recently, the wife shared updates through the YouTube channel 'Kang & Park Law Firm', stating "My intention to divorce is 100% firm" and revealed that she has filed a lawsuit. According to the wife's claims, the appearance on the show did not serve as a catalyst for improving their relationship but rather exacerbated their conflicts.
The wife claimed, "After returning home, my husband said 'Everything shown on the broadcast was staged' and increased the level of verbal abuse and emotional pressure." She added that her child's comment, "I hope mom feels more comfortable," was a decisive factor in her decision to divorce. Additionally, she criticized her husband's claim for custody, stating, "It seems to be aimed not at the children's welfare but at avoiding child support or exerting pressure."
On the other hand, the husband completely denies the wife's claims and is countering them. He refuted the allegations made by his wife through his YouTube channel 'Gourmet Scholar Hyung', stating, "The allegations regarding assault, neglect of surgery for implants, etc., are not true."
The husband claimed, "There was only one instance of assault, and in fact, I have reported being assaulted to the police several times". Regarding the issue of not undergoing implant surgery, he explained that it was due to financial circumstances and prioritizing cancer surgery, asserting that the allegations related to financial issues, such as unpaid medical insurance, were exaggerated.
Currently, the wife has stated that she is collecting evidence of lies by rebutting her husband's counterclaims through her YouTube channel 'Dreaming Liri'.
Previously, on the aired 'Divorce Contemplation Camp', the husband cited his wife's illness as a reason for divorce, which sparked controversy. In particular, he received fierce criticism from viewers for his inappropriate comment, "I hope my daughters become adult magazine models when they grow up". As the deep conflicts revealed through the broadcast have ultimately escalated into a court battle, public attention is focused on the future actions of the couple.
