Actors Kim Hye-jun and Kang Hoon will present an exciting office growth romance through tvN's new drama 'My Favorite Employee'.
Based on the popular Naver webtoon 'Our Oppa is an Idol', 'My Favorite Employee' depicts the tumultuous work life and love of a rookie employee, Nam Da-reum, who joins a company to meet their favorite artist.
Kim Hye-jun takes on the role of the protagonist Nam Da-reum, realistically portraying the passionate fan who is serious about their fandom. In the drama, Nam Da-reum is a fan who has supported the idol group D.N.X for 11 years and gives up on joining a big company to enter the company where their favorite member, Lee Chan, works as an internal director. Kim Hye-jun will act out the struggles of a rookie employee dreaming of becoming a 'successful fan' with her unique strong and confident charm.
Kang Hoon will appear as Kang Ha-gi, the CEO of the fashion startup 'Apello', where Nam Da-reum gets hired, collaborating with Kim Hye-jun. Additionally, Cha Woo-min has been cast as Lee Chan, Nam Da-reum's favorite and internal director, hinting at a peculiar love triangle and diverse developments.
