KBS 2TV weekend drama 'Love Prescription' dominated the weekend home theater with Park Gi-woong's romantic direct confession and the shocking ending witnessing infidelity. According to Nielsen Korea, the 8th episode aired on the 22nd recorded a nationwide rating of 17.7%, maintaining the top spot among all weekend programs.
The highlight of the broadcast was Yang Hyun-bin's (played by Park Gi-woong) bold advance towards Gong Joo-ah (played by Jin Se-yeon). Yang Hyun-bin lost his composure upon hearing about Gong Joo-ah's blind date and showed obsession by chasing after her to the meeting place. In particular, he expressed his hidden feelings with a short but intense remark, saying, "If it were a blind date today, I would have ruined it," adding, "Because I hate it," which heightened the excitement level.
Contrary to the pink atmosphere between the two, the families were heading towards disaster due to infidelity and divorce demands. Lee Hee-kyung urged for divorce with a brazen attitude, saying, "Love is not a crime," even in front of her husband Gong Dae-han, while Yang Dong-sook faced off against Min Yong-gil, who was demanding divorce, increasing the tension.
At the end of the broadcast, a shocking scene was depicted where Gong Joo-ah and Yang Hyun-bin witnessed Lee Hee-kyung and Min Yong-gil's affectionate actions. As the tangled fate of the two families surfaced, the 'Love Prescription' episode 9, facing a critical situation, will air on the 28th at 8 PM.
