Recently, she posted a video on her YouTube channel documenting the process of her eye correction and lower eyelid fat repositioning surgery, engaging in honest communication with her fans.
The video released on the 14th details the entire process from her decision to undergo surgery, visiting the hospital, and the raw swelling right after the operation. Choi Jun-hee revealed her puffy face right after the surgery, explaining, "It’s the second day post-surgery, and the swelling has peaked." She particularly recalled her difficult past, stating, "It’s similar to the eye condition I had when I was suffering from lupus," evoking sympathy.
Choi Jun-hee also shared her own tips for managing swelling. She mentioned, "Ice packs should be applied within three days post-surgery, and after that, warm compresses should be used," providing specific advice. However, the recovery process was not smooth. She had a schedule to attend an event in Shanghai just 11 days after the surgery. Despite having recently had her stitches removed, she showed her professionalism by doing her makeup from early morning.
She also candidly expressed her feelings about the glamorous event. Choi Jun-hee confessed, "There were so many beautiful people at the Shanghai venue that my self-esteem dropped." She added, "It was frustrating to be with beauties at a time when my appearance was at its most imperfect," revealing her human struggles.
However, she expressed high satisfaction with the results of the surgery. As the swelling subsided over time, Choi Jun-hee joyfully noted, "My eyes have become much clearer and cleaner." Her confident attitude of wanting to live her life to the fullest has garnered support from netizens.
