Comedian Park Na-rae has directly addressed the embezzlement allegations related to her ex-boyfriend, which arose from revelations by former managers, as well as the controversy surrounding illegal medical practices. Currently, Park Na-rae is embroiled in a mudslinging fight with former managers A and B over issues of workplace bullying and abuse of power, while she has taken it upon herself to clarify the identity of her ex-boyfriend, who is at the center of the controversy.
On the 14th, Park Na-rae stated in an interview with an entertainment media outlet that her ex-boyfriend was an employee of Anpark and that his mother is the company's representative. Previously, former managers had alleged that Park Na-rae falsely registered her ex-boyfriend as an employee of the agency, unjustly paying him approximately 44 million won in salary and transferring 300 million won of company funds under the pretext of a security deposit.
In response, Park Na-rae explained that her ex-boyfriend, who graduated from a business administration program, had accounting knowledge and was responsible for practical tasks such as bookkeeping and reviewing contracts in the early stages of the company. She indicated that since he was not well-versed in contract practices during his time at the former agency, she formally paid him a salary and requested his assistance. Regarding the 300 million won security deposit paid with company funds, she emphasized that it was processed in the form of an employee loan after confirmation from the accounting team, with proper collateral and interest payments made.
However, former manager A immediately refuted Park Na-rae's explanation. A claimed that contrary to Park Na-rae's assertion that her ex-boyfriend graduated from a business administration program, he only attended university for one semester and dropped out a long time ago, raising doubts about his educational background and experience. Additionally, they are still questioning the fact that while they refused to enroll in the four major insurance programs, only her ex-boyfriend and his mother were enrolled.
Park Na-rae has stated that she has been sensitive to legal issues due to past controversies over tax matters, but the former managers continue to make additional revelations with specific circumstances. As both sides' positions remain firmly opposed, this situation is expected to escalate into a long-term battle, including legal disputes.
