Trot singer Suk-hyung has become embroiled in an affair lawsuit due to allegations of an inappropriate relationship and cohabitation with a married man, and the man, Mr. B, has come forward to defend Suk-hyung.
On the 1st, a solo interview video with Mr. B, the married man at the center of the controversy surrounding Suk-hyung, was released on the YouTube channel Entertainment President Lee Jin-ho. Mr. B introduced himself as a businessman of the same age as Suk-hyung, who has been married since 2004 and has children.
In the interview, Mr. B detailed his first meeting with Suk-hyung, their dating process, and clarified the allegations that have arisen. He stated that he first learned about Suk-hyung through an acquaintance around August 2024, and initially, they were only in contact for business purposes. He claimed that he expressed his feelings for her around April 2025, at which time he was already living separately from his wife with the premise of divorce.
In particular, Mr. B explained that Suk-hyung was initially scared upon learning that he was a married man and avoided meeting him, but he persuaded her by saying that he was essentially separated and only had paperwork left to finalize. He emphasized that Suk-hyung was a victim who got involved in all this because she trusted his words.
He strongly denied the allegations of cohabitation. Mr. B clarified that Suk-hyung has her own house and that she only visited his home frequently, but they did not live together. Regarding the elevator footage showing physical contact, he acknowledged that it was a private space and that he acted carelessly.
Mr. B claimed that his wife, Ms. A, publicizing Suk-hyung was likely motivated by revenge for his past issues with women and an intention to attack using the fact that he is a public figure. He mentioned that his wife used expressions implying that Suk-hyung would die if even a little was leaked, and he described the current situation Suk-hyung is facing as a witch hunt.
Due to this controversy, Suk-hyung voluntarily withdrew from the ongoing MBN show King of Mask Singer 3 and has stated through social media that she will clarify all facts through legal procedures.
Finally, Mr. B expressed that while he must apologize for the fact of meeting a married man for the rest of his life, Suk-hyung is someone who is extremely reluctant to harm others, and he appealed to the public not to wrongly stigmatize her.
