SBS's popular drama 'Chaebol X Detective' is returning for Season 2 after about 2 years. Actor Ahn Bo-hyun will once again appear as the chaebol 3rd generation detective, and this time he will team up with actress Jung Eun-chae.
On the 3rd, SBS officially announced, "The new Friday-Saturday drama 'Chaebol X Detective 2' starring actors Ahn Bo-hyun and Jung Eun-chae is scheduled to air next year."
Ahn Bo-hyun will reprise his role as the main character, chaebol 3rd generation detective Jin Yi-soo, following the first season that aired last year. In Season 2, Jin Yi-soo, who previously teamed up with veteran detective Lee Kang-hyun (played by Park Ji-hyun), will conduct joint investigations with ace police officer Joo Hye-ra (played by Jung Eun-chae), who is a former police academy instructor.
The successful duo of PD Kim Jae-hong and writer Kim Ba-da, who led the success of Season 1, are once again collaborating for Season 2, raising expectations.
'Chaebol X Detective' is a 'cider' investigative drama where a chaebol 3rd generation who accidentally becomes a detective uses his vast wealth and connections to eliminate criminals. It recorded a peak viewership rating of 11.0% during its broadcast last year, receiving great love from viewers.
