In 'Kim Bu-jang,' aired on the 10th, a direct showdown unfolded between Kim Bu-jang (played by So Ji-seop), who fights to find the kidnapped daughter Min-ji (played by Seo Su-min), and Park Kang-sung (played by Kim Seong-gyu), who targets him.
Battered and broken, Kim Bu-jang realizes during the intense fight that Park Kang-sung is the older comrade '66'—a fellow who died, in place of him, when Park was a former North Korea infiltration operations agent—and the comrade's biological older brother.
Taking the assault head-on, Kim Bu-jang reveals the ugly truth that in the past, the intelligence chief Lee Eung-ryeong (played by Lee Jae-yong) used them as bait to maintain power. He then throws Park Kang-sung into confusion by delivering his brother's final will: "No matter what happens, survive."
Seo Su-min's dramatic escape, tangled fatherly feelings, and a tightening net
At the same time, Min-ji, trapped in a refrigerated warehouse, succeeds in a dramatic escape after launching a surprise attack on her guard Geum-i-baal (played by Jo Bok-rae). After Kim Bu-jang finds a clue to Min-ji's survival, he frantically searches for his daughter, but at the last possible moment, the two finally end up crossing paths and missing each other.
Hitting a wall, Kim Bu-jang asks Ah-ya (played by Son Na-eun) to perform a reverse trace of CCTV footage. However, the special operations director Ttang-gang-aji (played by Won Hyeon-jun) also promises a suffocating chase, sweeping through Min-ji's anticipated escape routes in an effort to catch Kim Bu-jang as well.

The standout moment of the episode was unquestionably the ending scene that left viewers stunned. After all odds, Min-ji escapes and, by chance, gets into a passing vehicle, letting out a breath of relief.
But the person sitting in the back seat was the father of the perpetrator who had pinned a school violence accusation on Min-ji, and the worst villain—Ju Gang-chan (played by Ju Sang-wook). Seeing Min-ji walk into the trap of her own accord, Ju Gang-chan flashes a chilling smile and drives the living-room set into fear.
Amid the desperate situation in which the car meant for salvation turns into the worst possible trap, viewers' expectations are at their highest as the next developments unfold—will Kim Bu-jang cut off the brutal fate and rescue his daughter safely?
