The MBC entertainment program 'I Live Alone' has captured viewers' attention by releasing its first group photo after erasing traces of comedian Park Na-rae.
On the 17th, the official social media of 'I Live Alone' posted photos from the studio recording of the Rainbow members ahead of the broadcast on the 19th. The production team raised expectations for this Friday night's broadcast with a witty phrase about sharing daily life with Marine Corps comrades.
In the released photo, cast members including Jeon Hyun-moo, Code Kunst, Kian 84, SHINee's Choi Min-ho, Ok Ja-hyun, and Park Ji-hyun are seen posing together. While 'I Live Alone' has consistently released studio group photos before the main broadcast, this photo has sparked significant online discussion as it clearly highlights the absence of Park Na-rae, who has been a part of the program for nine years.
Recently, Park Na-rae has been embroiled in a series of controversies, starting with allegations of mistreatment towards former managers, followed by illegal medical procedures and embezzlement of company funds. Former managers have filed a lawsuit against Park Na-rae for special injury and defamation, to which Park Na-rae's side has counter-sued for extortion, indicating a legal battle ahead, and she has suspended all broadcasting activities.
As the situation escalated, 'I Live Alone' officially removed Park Na-rae's name from its website and cast list, effectively severing ties. With Park Na-rae, who has been a key member of the Rainbow team since 2016, officially excluded after nine years, the program is entering a new phase.
This group photo, released for the first time after Park Na-rae's departure, is interpreted as a signal to formalize the changed structure of the Rainbow transportation team. The broadcast on the 19th will showcase the passionate daily life of Choi Min-ho and his Marine Corps comrades.
