Tomorrow X Together (TXT) opened the door to their first official activities after all members renewed their contracts with their agency, BigHit Music.
On the afternoon of the 13th, in Seongbuk-gu, Seoul, a media showcase was held to mark the release of Tomorrow X Together’s 8th mini album 'Seven’s Journey: When the Wind Stopped for a Moment in the Bramble'. This new release is drawing strong attention from global fandoms and the K-pop industry, as it is the first group album the five members have unveiled after finishing their contract renewals last year.
Leader Soobin said, "It’s a meaningful feeling because this is our first album after renewing our contracts," while Yeonjun added, "I prepared hard with the mindset of debuting," sharing his determination. Beomgyu said, "We’ve returned with a heartrending love story, after singing the growth narrative of a young boy," and added, "It’s already been eight years—I'm deeply grateful to the fans who grew with us."
The album’s title track, 'One Day, One More', is an electropop genre featuring a highly addictive and powerful chorus. The group poured their unmistakable color into a heartrending emotion that yearns to hold on to love that seems to have reached an ending. In particular, what stands out is how they’ve stepped away from the previous concept of a fictional boy narrator, with the members taking the lead as the story’s main characters themselves, maximizing the sincerity.
The new album includes a total of six tracks, including the title track: 'Bed of Hands,' 'Take Me to Nirvana (feat. Manilda Binida Weng),' 'So What,' '21st Century Romance,' and 'The Next of the Next.' From choosing the album’s theme to actively participating in writing and composing, the members proved the stronger capabilities they’ve grown as artists.
Taehyun expressed his ambition, "I’ll do my best, just like I always have for the past seven years," while Huening Kai said, "I put a variety of emotions into the music," showing confidence. With such a major turning point—renewing contracts for all members—Tomorrow X Together’s future plans for opening a new chapter are generating even more attention.
