Comedian Jang Do-yeon brought fresh laughter to viewers as she made her music program debut on KBS 2TV's music talk show 'The Seasons - 10CM's Sseodam Sseodam' (hereafter 'Sseodam Sseodam').
Making her first appearance on 'Sseodam Sseodam' aired on the 12th, Jang Do-yeon said, "This is the stage where I performed on Gag Concert," and created a cheerful atmosphere by impersonating Louis Armstrong.
Before showcasing her performance, Jang Do-yeon shared her connection with MC 10CM and various episodes, and when asked how she wants to be remembered as a comedian, she sincerely expressed, "I want to be a comedian who makes people laugh and wants to be well-regarded by the public."
Then, stepping onto her first music program stage, Jang Do-yeon chose Jeong Kyung-hwa's 'Invitation to Me' and sang calmly. However, as the song intensified, she displayed boldness by jumping into the audience and passionately singing while sitting on the stairs, providing a surprising comedic stage presence. In particular, she perfectly delivered explosive high notes, receiving thunderous applause.
Meanwhile, recently, Jang Do-yeon's close friend Park Na-rae has been embroiled in controversy over allegations of manager abuse and illegal medical practices. As the controversy continued, Park Na-rae announced her withdrawal from all programs she was appearing on and declared a halt to her broadcasting activities.
As a result, the production and scheduling of the new MBC variety program 'I Am Excited Too,' which was set to air in January 2026, have also been canceled. The 'I Am Excited Too' team stated that they made this decision in respect of Park Na-rae's halt in activities and her intention to withdraw. 'I Am Excited Too' was supposed to capture the travel experiences of 'true friends' including Park Na-rae, Jang Do-yeon, Shin Gi-ru, and Heo An-na, but with the production halted, their joint variety show will regrettably not be seen.
Jang Do-yeon's hot stage could be seen later tonight through 'Sseodam Sseodam.'
