tvN will premiere a new spin-off variety show, 'Amazing Thursday', which continues the universe of 'Amazing Saturday', on March 19 at 8:40 PM.
'Amazing Thursday' is a music variety show set in a familiar karaoke environment where two teams engage in fierce vocal battles. This is the official spin-off project of 'Amazing Saturday', presented about five years after the 'Idol Dictation Contest', and it aims to provide viewers with a unique enjoyment by further expanding the universe of the existing 'Doremi Market'.
This program, planned as a four-part series, aims to differentiate itself as a 'vocal-centered music show' while inheriting the original's unique cheerful energy, featuring skilled vocalists in direct competition.
The guest lineup for the first broadcast is also impressive. Yeonjun and Taehyun from the global group Tomorrow X Together (TXT), along with popular comedian Kim Hae-jun and Na Bo-ram, will showcase their entertainment skills and singing abilities. The production team plans to present hidden gem-like stages through a wide range of casting across genres.
The show will be hosted by Boom, a symbol of 'Amazing Saturday', who will transform into a lively karaoke owner. Boom is expected to take responsibility for the Thursday night energy with his witty remarks and skilled hosting abilities.
Additionally, the solid lineup is completed with the popular Lee Yong-jin, Jung I-rang, and the talented vocal group Jo Jae-joong and BTOB's Seo Eunkwang. The combination of Lee Yong-jin and Jung I-rang, who will bring laughter, along with Jo Jae-joong and Seo Eunkwang, who will showcase high-quality vocals, is expected to elevate the program's musicality and entertainment value simultaneously.
