As allegations of illegal medical practices surrounding broadcaster Park Na-rae spread, the so-called 'Injection Aunt' at the center of these allegations directly refuted the claims made by former managers through social media. Along with this, past remarks made by Gi-an 84 regarding Park Na-rae's connections have been reexamined, amplifying the controversy.
The individual referred to as the 'Injection Aunt' posted a lengthy message on their social media on the 7th, along with a photo of themselves in a doctor's gown. They claimed, "I studied hard while traveling back and forth to Inner Mongolia over 12 years, and I even served as the youngest professor among both local and foreign faculty at a university hospital there." They continued, "Based on this, I attracted a Korean plastic surgery center and did not shy away from interviews and lectures to promote Korea as the center director," expressing their frustration by asking, "How much do you think you know to make me a gossip topic?"
This individual's rebuttal came right after the allegations of illegal medical practices against Park Na-rae were reignited. Previously, Park Na-rae's agency, Anpark Co., Ltd., denied the allegations of illegal medical practices on the 6th, stating, "The only thing that happened was that she received nutritional injections from licensed medical personnel."
The controversy expanded through a Dispatch report. The report revealed that Park Na-rae received an IV drip at a regular home rather than a medical facility and that there were photos and messages indicating she received antidepressants through proxy prescriptions. Dispatch claimed that the individual was not a doctor, and therefore, all medical practices Park Na-rae received were illegal.
In response, Park Na-rae's legal representative, attorney Lee Se-jung from the law firm Kwangjang, stated, "There is no legal issue with Park Na-rae's medical practices," explaining that due to a busy filming schedule, she requested house calls from the doctors and nurses at her usual hospital to receive IV drips, asserting that it was a legitimate medical service. The agency also maintained that "the Injection Aunt was someone she first met at the hospital, and after developing a friendship, she requested house calls when her schedule was tough," stating, "We believed that the individual was a doctor."
As the truth battle regarding medical practices continues, past warning statements from people around Park Na-rae are also gaining renewed attention. Recently, online discussions have resurfaced regarding remarks made by Gi-an 84 during an appearance on the YouTube channel 'Na-rae's Meal' in August.
At that time, Park Na-rae asked, "My brother Si-eon and brother Gi-an 84 are worried about me," and Gi-an 84 responded, "You often introduce people, right? Of course, they could be good people, but I have a feeling. There’s a slight smell of fraud." This elicited laughter while leaving a significant nuance. He added, "I might be mistaken, but there are too many people (fraudsters) around Park Na-rae," to which Park Na-rae replied, "There were actually such people."
Gi-an 84 mentioned one of Park Na-rae's ex-boyfriends, saying, "He was too good-looking, so I was suspicious from the start. I wondered if he was after Park Na-rae's wealth." Coincidentally, Park Na-rae's former managers recently raised embezzlement allegations, claiming that she paid money to her ex-boyfriend, which Park Na-rae's side strongly denied, stating, "This is completely unfounded." However, Gi-an 84's past remarks are being revisited, leading to various speculations.
Meanwhile, Park Na-rae has found herself at the center of complex controversies, facing allegations from former managers regarding power abuse, injury, illegal medical practices, and embezzlement. In response, the agency stated, "As claims that are contrary to the facts continue to emerge, the monetary demands have also ballooned to hundreds of millions of won," and has filed a lawsuit against the former managers for extortion.
