The individual A, who exposed the allegations of broadcaster Jo Se-ho's connection to organized crime, is increasing pressure by raising additional suspicions through their social media.
Previously, A claimed that Jo Se-ho received money and expensive gifts from a person known as Choi, and sparked controversy by releasing a photo of Jo Se-ho with Choi.
In response, Jo Se-ho's agency A2Z Entertainment stated on the 5th, "This is merely A's personal speculation and we clearly state that it is not true," while acknowledging their relationship with Choi as 'just acquaintances.' The agency has indicated that they are actively considering legal action for defamation and obstruction of business against A.
However, A opened up again on their social media account on the 5th. They stated, "The posts I have made now will cause a huge social uproar, and comedian Jo Se-ho will be in a lot of trouble," and added, "I know who the famous influencers, celebrities, and public officials are connected to Choi."
A mentioned Jo Se-ho and Nam Chang-hee, saying, "Of course, celebrities are people too, so I understand if they drink with gangsters or friends who are gangsters. Because they are human. Aren't celebrities people?" but emphasized, "Celebrities are public figures. It doesn't make sense for a public figure who should set an example for the public to have a simple acquaintance with a gangster for about 10 years."
They continued, "Heaven knows and the earth knows. Choi probably gave tremendous gifts to his celebrity friends. Jo Se-ho's conscience will speak. I do not hate Jo Se-ho," and claimed, "If he has known Choi for 10 years, he cannot possibly not know what kind of person he is. Isn't it a company that Jo Se-ho knows well and has visited? I cannot understand why he would have a relationship with Choi in particular."
In particular, A stated, "Jo Se-ho's agency, I have a photo of Jo Se-ho with his current wife at Choi's house before his marriage while introducing them over drinks. I don't intend to reveal it, but if you keep saying it's just an acquaintance, I will reveal it," hinting at the possibility of releasing evidence. They added, "Just admit that you are old friends and close. I know that Jo Se-ho and Choi are like brothers among the gangsters in Gangnam."
Despite the agency's warning of legal action, the revelations continue, and with counterarguments against the explanation of 'just acquaintances,' attention is focused on what additional stance Jo Se-ho's side will take.
Meanwhile, Jo Se-ho married a non-celebrity 9 years younger than him last year, on October 9, and is currently actively participating in entertainment programs such as tvN's 'You Quiz on the Block' and KBS 2TV's '2 Days & 1 Night.'
