"There is no choice for husbands."
National MC Yoo Jae-suk and actor Kwon Sang-woo openly shared their 'real couple' episodes with their wives, evoking strong empathy from married men in South Korea.
In the SBS entertainment program 'Whenever There's a Chance' airing on the 13th, actor Kwon Sang-woo and Moon Chae-won appear as 'friends' and showcase their candid and straightforward talk. In the preview released before the broadcast, Kwon Sang-woo revealed his down-to-earth charm by answering, "I enjoy movies or YouTube at home without anything special" when asked about his holiday routine.
In particular, Kwon Sang-woo expressed his special affection for his wife Son Tae-young. He stated, "I often check out my wife's YouTube channel. It feels like a family album, and I find comfort in hearing my children's voices when I'm alone in Korea." He then pointed out that the phrases his wife Son Tae-young uses most often are 'Whatever happens' and 'Anyway'. Kwon Sang-woo explained, "When there is a disagreement, my wife wraps up the conversation with 'Whatever happens,' and I have developed a habit of confirming, 'Isn't it me?'" This made the scene burst into laughter.
In response, Yoo Jae-suk also drew attention by revealing his realistic conversation pattern with his wife Na Kyung-eun. Yoo Jae-suk confessed, "The phrase Kyung-eun says to me the most is 'Did you hear me?'" He added, "I need time to think about the question, but if my answer is delayed even a little, my wife asks, 'Why aren't you answering?'" His vivid description made everyone laugh.
Yoo Jae-suk also shared the bittersweet reality of husbands lacking 'choice'. He revealed, "This morning, I asked, 'Kyung-eun, if I ask, do I have a choice?' and the answer was 'Just do it'." Upon hearing this, Kwon Sang-woo added, "'Just do it' means 'Get permission first,'" providing a realistic interpretation that only married men can understand, which added to the laughter.
The heartwarming behind-the-scenes story of the two top stars' marital relationship can be confirmed in detail through 'Whenever There's a Chance' airing on the 13th.
