Broadcaster Sayuri has attracted attention by sharing a heartfelt message about family along with photos from a traditional Japanese festival with her son Zen.

On the 29th, Sayuri posted a family photo taken with her son Zen on her social media. In the released photo, Sayuri and Zen are dressed neatly in traditional Japanese kimonos, creating a warm atmosphere. Zen's playful expression and Sayuri's loving gaze towards him brought warmth to viewers.

Sayuri explained that this photo commemorates the traditional Japanese custom of 753. In Japan, it is customary for boys to wear kimonos and take commemorative photos at ages 3 and 5, while girls do so at ages 3 and 7 to celebrate their growth. Sayuri expressed her affection by stating that this photo is indeed our family photo.

In particular, Sayuri also expressed her strong stance against some prejudiced views towards single-parent families. She mentioned that some people say it is sad that there is no father or that the child may not be happy, and she shared that she simply laughs it off without denying it every time. This is because she knows that others' opinions have no meaning in her life.

She emphasized that even if the world says it is sad, if Zen is happy on his own, that is the right answer, and that one should live not to appear happy to others but to be happy for oneself. She added warm encouragement to her son Zen, saying that the answer is always by his side.

Sayuri chose a life as a voluntary single mother after giving birth to her son Zen in 2020 in Japan using donated sperm while being unmarried, receiving great support. Since then, she has been sharing her happy daily life with her son through broadcasting and social media, proving that love and happiness are more important than the form of family.

Many netizens express deep sympathy for Sayuri's principled statements and send blessings for the future of the two. Sayuri and Zen, who cultivate their own happiness without being swayed by others' opinions, are raising new questions about the various forms of family in modern society.
