It has been raised that the customer list of the so-called injection aunt, referred to as A, who is known to have provided a prescription-required psychotropic drug and administered an IV to broadcaster Park Na-rae, includes Mukbang YouTuber Short-Mouthed Sun. As a result, public attention is focused on whether Sun will directly address this controversy.
Sun previously announced through a publicly shared schedule that she would release an edited broadcast at 10 PM on the 18th and conduct a live broadcast at 10 PM on the 19th. However, as requests for clarification regarding the injection aunt are pouring in, there is growing interest in whether she will change her broadcast schedule or speak out during the live broadcast.
This suspicion began when Dispatch released messages exchanged between injection aunt A and Park Na-rae's former manager. The messages contain indications that Sun has been continuously receiving diet pills from A. A claimed in the messages that Sun usually takes the pills three times a day and up to four times on days when she eats a lot, in an effort to maintain her weight in the 60 kg range.
Additionally, A mentioned going to meet Sun in Sangam-dong or that she would tell Sun to deliver the pills during the filming of the show Amazing Saturday, indicating that pills were also delivered to Park Na-rae through Sun. The two have built a friendship by appearing together on the tvN entertainment program Amazing Saturday.
According to the medical community, A, known as the injection aunt, is under suspicion of performing medical acts without a domestic medical license. In addition to providing IVs and medications, there are additional suspicions that she has been using a specific medical device, a high-frequency stimulator, for body shape management in an officetel. This device is known to pose a significant risk of skin burns or tissue damage if used without professional supervision.
A claimed through messages that Sun received management from the device at a higher intensity than Park Na-rae. As a result, there are concerns that Sun may also have been exposed to unlicensed medical practices.
In relation to this, Sun denied the allegations to Dispatch, stating that while she had received treatment for swelling at the hospital where A worked, it had nothing to do with diet pills or IV injections. As a first-generation popular Mukbang YouTuber who has built trust, attention is focused on how Sun will confront this controversy head-on.
