Comedian Park Na-rae's 'Injection Aunt' A, who is at the center of allegations of illegal medical practices, deleted all photos and career details from her social media (SNS) account as the controversy spread. With official criticism from the domestic medical community and the government's review of an administrative investigation, the controversy surrounding A's identity is growing.
On the 10th, it was confirmed that A's SNS account, known as Park Na-rae's Injection Aunt, had deleted titles such as Director of the Korean Plastic Surgery Center at Inner Mongolia Pugang Medical University Hospital (Special Professor) and all photos.
In this regard, the YouTube channel 'Entertainment President Lee Jin-ho' compared Park Na-rae's Injection Aunt to a peeled onion, stating, "The more you peel it, the more layers come out. I wonder if the celebrities associated with her are actually the victims." He continued, "Didn’t she officially state that she is a medical school professor? She packaged herself well. She even posted photos of actual MOUs with Chinese doctors," raising the possibility that acquaintances believed A to be a medical professional.
Previously, Park Na-rae was accused of various allegations including abuse of power, embezzlement, and illegal medical practices by her former two managers, and she announced on the 8th that she would suspend her broadcasting activities until the controversy was resolved. Consequently, MBC's 'I Live Alone', 'Home Alone', and tvN's 'Amazing Saturday - Doremi Market', where Park Na-rae was a fixed cast member, announced their plans for her departure and editing. Her personal YouTube channel 'Narae's Style' also decided to suspend its activities.
However, among the allegations surrounding Park Na-rae, the identity of 'Injection Aunt' became a major topic. Allegations were raised that she received IV drips and was prescribed antidepressants at home and in vehicles, rather than in a medical institution, but Park Na-rae's side clarified, "I only received nutritional supplements from a licensed doctor."
However, domestic medical organizations issued a statement pointing out that "there is no medical school called Pugang Medical University." Subsequently, A deleted content related to 'Pugang Medical University' from her SNS. Ultimately, the government has also stated that it will review an administrative investigation into A, expanding the controversy into a social issue.
